Welcome to Lund, the setting of Mattias Edvardsson's psychological crime novel A Nearly Normal Family, first published in Swedish as En helt vanlig familj in 2018. This route follows places mentioned in the book; several locations used in the Netflix adaptation are different.
The story follows the Sandells: Adam, a pastor; Ulrika, a lawyer; and their daughter Stella. Their apparently secure life collapses when Stella is accused of murder. Father, daughter and mother tell the story in turn, repeatedly changing how we understand truth, loyalty and justice inside a family.
The walk contains moderate spoilers about locations, relationships and themes, but it does not reveal the verdict or the novel's final disclosures. Please remain on public paths, especially near the residential area at the end of the route.
